CareArt is now accredited to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship to carers living outside the UK who wish to come and work in the UK. Interested candidates should fill in the registration form provided or Email: enquiries@careart.co.uk

When recruiting new carers we expect them to have certain core competencies as well as a real passion for the vocation. To achieve this aim we have a clear recruitment process to make sure that all our staff members are genuinely committed to helping others and have experience within the caring field. Not only that, but we also work to make sure that all their legal requirements are in place, which means checking:

• Their personal identity and proof of permission to work in the UK
• Their bank accounts
• Two proofs of address
• Their national insurance number
• Their CV
• Their Unique Tax Reference
• Their insurance documents
• Their incorporation certificates
• Immunizations
• Enhanced CRB Checks

Training

However, once hired we then have a rigorous training process in place to ensure that all our carers are in line and up to date with the latest regulation, this includes:

• Manual handling and risk assessment
• Fire safety
• Health and Safety
• COSHH and RIDDOR
• Infection Control including MRSA & Clostridium Difficille
• Food Hygiene
• Lone Worker
• Caldicott Protocols
• Risk Incident Reporting
• Handling Complaints
